So:ACD — Soldier on Acid · private group, open to the public

So:ACD

We bring IT to your table.

We develop, host and look after web services — websites, mail, servers and game worlds — on our own machines. Write to us in your own words: a real person answers.

// development · problem solving · websites · mail · servers · game worlds — on our own hardware

If it's online, we sort it out.

We're an all-rounder crew: we develop, build and fix, a bit of everything. If something doesn't work and nobody can explain it, that's our kind of job.

Problem solving

Stuck on something? Tell us.

An account that locks you out, a form that never sends, a computer acting weird, a site that makes no sense. Write it in your own words — we look at it, explain it simply, and sort it. Remotely, and patiently.

Everything online

The essentials

Domains, email, websites, backups, automations: set up once, taken care of.

Our own machines

No rented clouds

A home datacenter runs our mail, files and AI — the same machines we offer to others.

We don't sell or train on your data, and we don't collect it: only call counts and our own servers' health. No logs, no profiling.
And strange projects

When we get an idea, we build it

A private chat, a hub for the network, small tools born from stubborn ideas — built by hand and documented in public, even when it's silly.

See the projects →

The same hands, for your things.

What we do for ourselves, we can do for others — as paying clients, as supporters, or simply as part of the network. The list below covers the usual ground; anything beyond it is welcome too.

help/

Help & setup

We can sort out the things that act up — a computer, an account, a form, an email that never arrives. We take it from there, remotely and without jargon.

web/

Development & programming

We can write the software you are missing: pages and web apps, small tools, integrations, automation. Built to be read, hosted and looked after on our machines.

game/

Game servers & modding

We can set up, mod and keep running game servers — modpacks, plugins, configs, maps. Ours are free to join; what we can host is listed just below.

ai/

AI & automations

We can put our own AI to work — chat tools, small automations, clean APIs — running on our machines, not on someone's cloud.

custom/

Anything you need

From database apps to anything: simple scripts, a physical server put together on request, remote help. This includes mail: our own private mailboxes — part of the platform, for our users, on request. If it can be described, we can set it up.

How it works: through the contact form, via support@soacd.net, or with a thread on Discord. The answer is plain — can we help, what it takes, what it costs. Prices are per project, and every offer states exactly what it includes.
Free & open, always: the public game worlds, the guides and the streams. Supporters and people in the network get the services on friendlier terms.

One account, and the tools we run for ourselves.

The platform is the part of the network you can actually use: AI models on our own machines, a git forge, file sharing, image conversion. One account covers all of it — and access is approved by hand, one person at a time.

account/

One sign-in

A single So:ACD account works across the platform, the git forge, files and the game servers. You register, we confirm, then it is yours. No automatic access, no waiting in the dark: you get an answer.

platform/

AI, priced in credits

Models running on our hardware, a key per program, and a balance you can read line by line. 100 credits = €1. Packs from €5, or the same amount monthly; the €100 pack includes a game server for up to ten people.

git/

Code you can read

Public repositories are readable by anyone, no account needed. Writing — push, issues, pull requests — needs an approved account.

files/

Files and images

Share a file with a link that expires, or convert and compress an image. Everything is processed on our machines and not kept afterwards.

game/

Game servers & modding

Servers we run and keep alive — plus the modding that makes them worth playing: modpacks, plugins, configs, maps. Ours are free to join; yours we can host and look after.

dev/

Development & programming

Small software that solves a real problem: web pages and apps, integrations, automation, tools that talk to the platform. Code documented in public, where it can be read.

No analytics, no ad cookies, no third-party trackers. What we hold is what the account needs: username, email, usage. Nothing else.

Built by hand. Documented in public.

Everything the group builds — from the machines to the tools that run on them.

The MainFrame

Our own home datacenter: the machines behind everything we run — mail, websites, game servers and our own AI models. Self-hosted, nothing on someone else's cloud.

Support
Support us — or join the Crew. Joining costs nothing: it happens through ideas, imagination and lending a hand — donated PC parts count just as much. If money suits you better: Patreon for recurring support, Ko-fi for a one-time coffee.
Free ways to help: play and keep the worlds alive · share that the network exists · report bugs and answer the polls on Discord. Every one of them earns credits on the Platform. Those matter just as much.
The Platform: our own AI — every model behind one OpenAI-compatible API — running on our machines, no cloud in sight. Credits turn into compute: help the network and it comes back to you. It's young, it's ours, and it grows with the crew.

The usual questions.

If yours is not here, ask on Discord — or use the contact form.

What is So:ACD?
Soldier on Acid — a small private group, open to the public. We develop, build and run things online: servers, websites, services, a bit of everything. And we solve problems — ours and other people's.
Are you making a game?
There's a game idea in the drawer — an idle/survivor thing in flat pixel art — but it's not in active development: it grows when there's time. We develop a bit of everything; the game is one of those things.
Can you help with my own things — a site, an email, a computer problem?
Yes. Write and describe what's happening, in your own words. If we can help, we say how and how much; if we can't, we say that too.
What does it cost?
It depends on the job. Quotes are per project and always written down before anything starts. Some things are free — the game worlds, the guides, the streams — and supporters and people in the network get friendlier terms.
Are the game servers free?
Yes. Every public world on the network is free to join, for everyone.
How do I join the network?
Join the Discord — the invites and the install guides live there, together with the crew. Or use the contact form and pick "Joining the network".
How can I support the network?
On Patreon for recurring support with perks, on Ko-fi for a one-time coffee — or for free: play, share and give feedback. All of it keeps the network alive.
I need help or found a problem. Where do I write?
Use the contact form — or write to support@soacd.net. Discord works too. Describe the problem and what you were doing — that's enough.
